“You give me fever”
Day 202)
Just by the sound of the title you
are probably asking yourself…self what is she talking about? What I am talking about is the ever common summer
cold. I know you are probably thinking, who gets a summer cold? You would be surprised
at the number of people who get summer colds. Randy Wexler, MD, assistant professor of
family medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus says
not to be confused, summer colds and allergies are not the same. A cold is a virus and active year around though
most prevalent in the winter months. The best way to combat a summer cold is prevention.
Just
because you haven’t caught a cold doesn’t mean you won’t. Proper rest and hydration
as well as eating properly and reducing undo stress are some of the ways to keep
your body strong and able to combat sickness, but your daily vitamins are just as
important. Be sure to take your vitamins daily also a little extra like vitamin
C, D and B12. These will help keep you feeling great!
